The principal applicant is research fellow at the Frisian Academy in the Netherlands and board member of the Isaac Massa Foundation. This is a private organisation, registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Groningen, which will administer the award. The Foundation has the aim to stimulate scientific and cultural contacts between the Netherlands and the Russian Federation in the broadest sense of the term, and tries to reach this goal by preparing publications, supporting research and stimulating contacts between scientific institutions and individual people.
