In the last decade, the field of documentation has changed substantially as a result of digitalisation. Mercator-Education wishes to join in with this trend by transforming its physical library into a virtual library and looking for the most suitable search methods for our audience. We have applied in the Netherlands for institutional money to fund this and expect a response sometime in December. In the meantime a group of trainees specialised in information, documentation and management will study the different aspects for the implementation of the virtual library.
